Zainab brings with her several years of legal experience in various jurisdictions across the globe. In the past, she has represented clients in commercial cross-border disputes in both domestic and international arbitration forums including ICSID & LCIA, and provided general corporate and commercial advice with a focus on debt financing.
Zainab has done her LLB (Hons) from the University of London in 2009 and her LLM in corporate/commercial law from Queen Mary – UOL in 2010 and was admitted as a solicitor in the courts of England & Wales in 2018. In recent years, Zainab has completed her LLM in Canadian common law at Osgoode Hall Law School and received admission to the Ontario Bar in 2023.
Zainab’s practice primarily focuses on corporate and commercial law, with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions in a variety of industries. She represents private companies, in connection with various other corporate and commercial transactions, including private equity and debt financings and corporate reorganizations.
At leisure, she pursues an interest in interior design and loves to spend time with her daughters and travel.
